The decade of the smart phone doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. With technology constantly evolving. As soon as you have purchased a new phone, laptop, smart watch or tablet it is pretty much obsolete!
Even the furniture world, notoriously behind the times is making in-roads and I am not talking about TV beds which seem to have been labelled “modern” for the past 20 years! Many online & high street retailers use 3D space planners, then you have the likes of Ikea who have their augmented reality app so you can see your new living room or kitchen before you buy it. Pretty crazy stuff!

We spend on average 24hrs per week on our smart phones, this stat doesn’t include texting or phone calls, that’s just online! We use our smart phones for everything. Shopping, Camera, Music, Gaming the list is endless! This was not always the case and furniture needs to move forward and bring together style, practicality and the millennial lifestyle of today!
